“Seeing it now for the first time, it looks like it has met and exceeded my expectations. I’ll tell you when I was looking for an investment property, I checked all over Thailand. I went to Chiang Mai, Pattaya, Phuket, and then here in Koh Samui.
And of all the developments and all the developers, I was most pleased with what SKHAI had to offer. They were very informative, they also connected me to a local lawyer who I was able to work with and talk about the buying process and what that might look like."
So I’ll tell you, I picked SKHAI more because of a couple of factors. One is the 12-month guarantee of it being built. Now once again, I bought during COVID. Yeah, and the fact that you guys were able to build this in 12 months during an epidemic is quite amazing. So, I was very pleased with that, so good decision there.
And the second thing is it was customizable. You guys gave me the opportunity to expand the floor plan if I wanted to make whatever interior changes or exterior changes I wanted and that made it feel more like a home. Just a property. So yeah, I’ll tell you I had never actually physically been to the plot of land. Let alone had I seen a villa built because it was off-plan build so the fact that I was getting frequent updates and emails with pictures and videos and all those things along the way, it gave me confidence as it was progressing.
I’ll tell you through the whole process you know something that impressed me was there were quite a few requests and the answer was always yes or let me figure it out. Yeah, I think because of once again the frequent photos as well as during the design process, looking at the plans, scrutinizing the plans, making sure that it was exactly what I was looking for. And the design team, and the architects, everyone was able to accommodate all my requests.
So seeing it now for the first time it looks like it has met and exceeded my expectations. Yeah, I’ve been telling my friends they all need to invest in one so we can all be neighbors. But yeah, absolutely the process has been super smooth and everything has been seamless and once again we did that through an epidemic and now we’re getting ready to start renting out the villa and doing the property management piece of it. So very very excited for my first day here.”
